eCARE-PD – Use & Design of AI-powered Self-Care Technologies for People living with Parkinson

The eCARE-PD project focuses on the use and design of an AI-powered self-care technology for people living with Parkinson’s disease. Working with patients, healthcare professionals, care partners and developers, the project aims to understand user experience and develop co-design methods to engage different stakeholders in the development of an AI-powered self-care technology (e.g. conversational recommendation system). The project makes both a methodological contribution by promoting an inclusive design process, and a theoretical contribution by exploring how AI can support self-care practices through personalized support and adapted, accessible resources.
